Am HaSefer

Please join Jewish Federation and Foundation of Rockland County  Am Hasefer project as we launch our initiative to amplify the voices of Jewish authors. We have a variety of genres to choose from: fiction, non-fiction, anti-Semitism, cookbooks, children and young adults books, books on Jewish thought.

For those participating, we are offering a kindle credit or reimbursement for your book of choice. Jewish voices are being silenced and you can be a part of fighting back.

“Animals Have Jobs Too!” is a children’s picture book, written by local author Alexandra Numeroff. Starting with Sue the Bookworm, all of the animals introduce themselves and describe their jobs. Each of the animals has a career that relates to their specific characteristics. At the end of each riddle, readers are given the opportunity to guess who the animal is and what their job is. There is also an appendix that lists fun facts about each animal.
